Manasi and Dipen’s love story began in the UK, and it took them across oceans and time zones as they planned their dream wedding. Despite being based in the UK when they first connected with their wedding planners, the couple was in the process of relocating to the US. With Manasi’s parents residing in Hong Kong and Dipen’s parents in the UK, the choice of Intercontinental Fujairah as their wedding venue proved to be a harmonious solution, ensuring that their loved ones could easily gather in one place. This remarkable journey culminated in a celebration that showcased the rich tapestry of their cultures and the depth of their love.
An Amalgamation of Traditions
With Manasi hailing from a Punjabi background and Dipen from a Gujarati one, the couple envisioned a wedding that would seamlessly blend both sides of their heritage. Their meticulous planning resulted in a series of events that artfully incorporated rituals, colours, and festivities from both cultures. Their diverse range of events included the Mehendi, Welcome Dinner, Grah Shanti Pooja with Pithi, Mehendi, Sangeet, Haldi, Chooda ceremony, Wedding, and Reception, each reflecting the couple’s distinct personalities and shared journey.
Crafting Unique Experiences
Every event was meticulously designed to encapsulate the essence of the couple’s story. The intimate Mehendi ceremony in the Inspiration Room set the tone for the celebrations, with the bride and immediate family partaking in the festivities.
The Welcome Dinner held at the Drift Lounge exuded an atmosphere of warmth and reunion, as guests, many of whom hadn’t seen each other in a while, rekindled bonds to the strains of melodious music from the Butchery Boys.
Rituals and Joyous Moments
The rituals unfolded in a series of exquisitely curated events, starting with the Grah Shanti and Vidhi pooja for Dipen. Bathed in shades of yellow, the ceremony, conducted by Ishwar Maharaj, was a spiritual affair attended by close friends and family. The transition into the Haldi ceremony was marked by playful camaraderie as family and friends smeared the couple with haldi paste, capturing moments of laughter and love.
The Signature Lawn transformed into a radiant canvas for the Mehendi ceremony, radiating rustic elegance with hints of vibrant orange. The dholwalas, henna artists, DJ, and mixologists came together to create a vibrant atmosphere where every element resonated with the couple’s vision.
Culmination of Celebrations
The Moroccan-themed Sangeet event in the grand Ballroom brought forth a dynamic blend of music, dance, and celebration. Manasi and Dipen’s friends hosted the event, orchestrating dance performances that brought joy and laughter to the couple and their guests. The Sangeet after-party carried the excitement forward, creating an electric atmosphere that lasted into the night.
Manasi’s Haldi and Chooda ceremony, embracing hues of yellow, evoked a sense of tradition and familial closeness, culminating in cherished memories.

The pinnacle of the journey unfolded on the beachfront, where the wedding ceremony took place against the breathtaking backdrop of the sea. The pastel theme, coupled with amphitheatre seating, created an ethereal ambiance for the couple’s union. The wedding incorporated cherished traditions, from the baraat with energetic dhol walas to the groom’s entrance in a buggy, followed by Manasi’s graceful walk down the aisle.
The enchanting journey reached its crescendo with the Reception on the Grand Lawn, adorned with twinkling fairy lights. From the heartwarming speeches to the energetic dance floor, the evening was a symphony of celebration and happiness.
