Fell in love at University in the USA, Sauren desired to take her as his bride back from her hometown, Dubai. As the bride’s mother rightly remarked, “We sent Kash alone to study, and she has come back with 200 people to take her as a bride.”

Kashmira and Sauren, who are now married and residing in the USA, initially met there. They have a beautiful home with their dog, who is an integral part of their lives. They got along over sushi and sake, and that was just the start of their love life.

The family decided to have their wedding in Dubai, the place Kash calls home. The bride envisioned a palatial setting for their celebrations, and Raffles The Palm Dubai provided the ideal venue. Its outdoor spaces, adorned with lush green gardens, a majestic ballroom, and a picturesque beach setting, perfectly complemented their desires.

Welcome Dinner

We held the welcome dinner at a different venue, the W Hotel – Sobe. This indoor-outdoor lounge/bar offers stunning views of the Dubai skyline and the Palm. Renowned for boasting the best sunset vistas in Dubai, it provided a picturesque setting for our event. The theme for the welcome dinner was neon, with neon arches, signage, and other decor elements.

Our logistics team ensured that all guests were escorted seamlessly from Raffles to the W Hotel and back. The event was a resounding success, with guests enjoying the beats spun by DJ Shadow and the rhythmic accompaniment of Walter on percussion.

Mehndi and Haldi at the Lawn

Kash was adamant about having a Bollywood-inspired backdrop for her and her bridesmaids to take pictures on. Since it was a daytime event, we set up a beautiful tent to shield us from the sun, decorated with pastel colors chosen by the bride. The stage was no less than a dream, with Venetian windows and pastel flowers running all across in bunches. Kashmira’s dream came true as she posed with her family and bridesmaids for Bollywood-style pictures on the stunning stage.

The event was a fun dancing affair with Emcee Priya Jethani leading fun games and activities like a champagne wall and live perfume making. After the mehndi celebrations, the event transitioned into a haldi ceremony. The bride and groom quickly changed, and Team EBS transformed the grand stage into a haldi setup, adorning the couple in yellow. What came next? With the beach nearby, a quick dip was a must before the evening’s festivities!

Sangeet at the Ballroom

The Bollywood fever was still not over, and the family was ready to shake a leg and show off their dance moves. We were surprised at how everyone landed on time, even after the long, fun day we had. The guests were welcomed with a bubble act, and our lovely champagne ladies served bubbly before we opened the doors to the grand ballroom. The decor was breathtaking, adorned in white and crystals, featuring mirror tables and cascading flowers.

The night ended with surprises and beautiful dances between the boy’s and girls’ sides.

Wedding on the Beach

Most of our brides choose weddings in Dubai because they dream of getting married on the beach during the golden hour, surrounded by stunning scenery. We make this dream a reality, but we’d like to take a moment to explain what it entails for us. Raffles The Palm Beach is at a slight angle, which poses a challenge for setting up a platform or deck within the given time frame. Another challenge is ensuring the baraat arrives on time so our bride can enjoy her golden hour.

Over the years, we, the best wedding event planner Dubai, have mastered these challenges, and we’re proud to say we consistently make this dream come true, just like Kash, who walked down the aisle on that beach with a mandap perfectly set to her dreams. They looked gorgeous in that setting, as she described it.

Reception on the Lawn

The last event was the reception—yes, it was time to say bye, but in style! The décor was chosen to match the theme of lights and life. The theme was an enchanted forest, with dim lights resembling butterflies and greenery to enhance the vibe.

The couple made a grand entry with a line of lights held by the bridesmaids and groomsmen, followed by fire acts and a great DJ setup by Shadow. The event was a fun affair with heartfelt speeches that brought tears to our eyes, and amazing food and hospitality provided by the Raffles team.
