This beautiful wedding, ‘The Family Affair’ as we would best describe it was all about planning a beautiful ceremony in which Nikita, a beautiful Desi bride and Dominik, the tall and handsome German Groom took their wedding vows.
They’ve been together for over 10 years and now here we were, helping them make it official for a lifetime!
The families of both, the bride and the groom truly got involved in the event from the beginning with their indulgence in the planning, décor detailing, colour palette and flowers selection and even the dance floor arrangements. Special credits to the brides gorgeous sisters, Anisha and Madhvi who were played a key role in all the planning. Least to say, we fell in love with the families instantly!
The first event at Park Hyatt was the perfect setting for the blue and white Moroccan theme. The contemporary Greek look of Park Hyatt coupled with our décor, hand-picked furniture and sky lit with fairy lights created the perfect ambience. It reflected the love and a decade of togetherness which we had heard many stories of. The way the couple doted at each other just melted our hearts with too much love.
DJ Manoj did what he does best and all guests who had poured in from Tanzania, Germany and India danced the night away. What a perfect kick-off to the perfect wedding gala.
Day two brought in a nice sunny morning for the Wedding Day. The flowers and décor in white and pink overflowed with romance. Nikita’s entrance swept everyone off… walking down the aisle with her uncles and brothers welcoming her with custom-made umbrellas was quite a thing!
The post wedding dinner was arranged in the Ball Room and what we had planned next, nobody could have guessed!
We transformed the traditional setup into a LED lit dance floor ready for a colourful Garba night (all in less than an hour!). The loud Garba beats by DJ Budha added the final touches to our surprise. And wow, our fantastic guests returned the gesture with their amazing grooves!
The last day of festivities started with a lunch planned at the Lotus Yatch. It was a great start as the guests were left mesmerised by the Dubai Skyline and of course, the delicious food.
The reception was a Black-tie event planned with intricate details right from seating of the guests to the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ themed décor. The setting was a burst of joyful colours. Pink and red flowers against the backdrop of burgundy and navy blue spreads with tinge of gold painted a regal picture. The blue and gold covers and the Armani Gold chairs rounded off the royal feeling which the bride and the groom deserved.
The entrance of Nikita and Dominik in sync with their favourite song was like a scene from a romantic movie. The cake cutting was then followed by the Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dance. Right from ‘Kinder-Egg Toast’ (clearly, Champagne toasts are a passé now!) to perfectly planned and rehearsed speeches, we learned of several details which make these families rare and every bit adorable! The night got more vibrant with the performances by dancers, pyro dancers and of course our favourite live band “Rooh” having people dance to their tunes!
With that we pulled down the curtains… till we meet again.
