Sunny + Jenika
Set amidst the mountains this wedding was no less than a dream, six raging events and some of the most unique themes this wedding proved to be the wedding of the year.
When we met Sunny (the groom) and his brother Jitendra , they gave us complete freedom to choose the themes , colors and elements which according to us would enhance the wedding vibe.
The Groom
Sunny Sawlani is a Dubai based businessman who deals in the Textile Market the name of the business is Komal Textiles. The Bride, Jenika Tilwani is an Indian Based Make up Artist.
The Couple and their Families were looking for a proper Sindhi Wedding in the UAE.
Thread Ceremony
The first event was Jitendra’s son’s thread ceremony called “Jinay ka Janeyu” which again they wanted it on a grand scale, our head decor designer came up with an idea of a Krishna & Peacock theme as they were believers of Lord Krishna. The ballroom was set up with peacocks all over in gold frames with a round mandap and a fall of flowers forming into a huge peacock. We also arranged for a trio who were playing the flute and tabla and behind them we had an LED screen with images from Vrindavan which made the whole event pious.
Welcome Dinner
The Welcome dinner was in the evening which had a simple theme in the ballroom. We welcomed all the guests in a starry silver aisle filled with diamonds and some lovely hangings to complete the look, this aisle was made as an entrance to the ballroom which gave everyone a very royal entry. Our couple made a dramatic entry thru the LED split screen while everyone was watching their proposal video and the screen opened with them coming thru. It was a beautiful night with the really close knot family. The artist perfoming was Mohit Lalwani who is a famous sindhi Ladda singer.
Comic Carnival – Mehendi
The next day was Mehndi Function which was also called comic carnival. In Middle East, to put up a summer wedding is the biggest challenge for all wedding planners. For this event we setup an Air-Conditioned Tent right on the beach in the soaring heat, but as soon the guests entered, they were amazed. This event was the highlight of the wedding and was by far the quirkiest decors we have ever seen and done. A big shoutout to our head decor designer who was so adamant to push this idea as it turned out exactly as she imagined it. With the quirkiest bar to the most innovative photobooth, this event was a superhit. We chose all the bright colors which added to the whole décor, and to make this event more memorable we had ROOH the band performing which made this afternoon a fun filled one.
Cocktail Night
Walking on an LED pathway with Lotus hanging from top was a surreal experience for a cocktail night. Our whole theme was Lotus and we had a beautiful bar with Lotus Mashrabiya which made the whole look of the event look complete. Mickey Singh was Specially called by the family because they were his big fans. The highlight of this event was the 360 photobooth which we created for people to have fun and take-home memories.
Wedding Day
The Wedding day had a Golden theme with a hydraulic Mandap where the Bride and Groom had unique entries with angel performing acts, who were specially called by the family they made all the guests in an “Aww” during the couple entry. The gold radiant hydraulic Mandap would be every bride’s dream. Located right in the center and four aisles leading to the pathway this mandap was not less than a fantasy. With some pastel flowers and domes on the dinner tables the whole décor looked straight out of a Bollywood film. The flower blast at the Jai Mala stole the show as the gold acrylic mandap changed the color to red with the lovely red rose petals.
Reception
The last function was the reception which took place at the ballroom. An event which is filled with love, laughter and happily ever after. We wished the couple nothing less than a bed of roses for their future life, hence we kept the theme Red Rose. A very minimalistic but elegant theme which bought everyone together for the last time before they bid goodbye from this larger-than-life wedding. The whole décor was kept very graceful as we had none other than Guru Randhawa performing for us that night which added to our whole event.
The host for all the functions was Mr. Junaid who entered the guests throughly throughout the events. The DJ’s for all the functions were DJ Nitesh and DJ Gautam, who rocked all the Functions and the after parties.
