We Events By Saniya had a blast planning this fun-filled reception for Zeba and Kabir.

 

Planning

The event was a small-scaled one meant for 32 pax. Our bride wanted to throw a fun Reception for her close-knit family and friends at a beach or an intimate garden.

 

Décor

Our nature enthusiast bride chose a beautiful stepped garden at the W hotel – the Palm filled with greens and trees, which opens to a beach as her perfect spot to hold this event. We decided to have a rustic vintage look for the reception with fairy lights hanging all over the place, barrels, lanterns, candles, feathers and more of wood with greens and orange florals as a pop of color.

The wooden square arches with drapes and sparkling chandeliers at the entrance lead the guests into the enchanting ‘Secret Garden.’

The guests first approached an elegant green champagne wall as it served as their welcome drink right after entering. The barrel backdrop bar was the highlight of the space, which emphasized the theme. Additionally, we had the DJ on a table supported by barrels, a gorgeous floral seating photobooth, barrel cocktail tables, lounges, and wooden tables with green overhangs, all of which spoke of our rustic theme. The existing cabanas in the area were also accessorized with urns, cushions of our color palette, candle glass jar hangings. Well, what can we say? The overall look of the event was nothing but magical.

Entertainment

As Entertainment, Walter (Walter Scalzone) grooved on a handpan, setting the vibe while welcoming guests. This was followed by Zeba’s sisters and friends’ speeches, who managed to crack everyone up and embarrass her with nostalgic videos that were played on a huge LED screen that we set up behind the DJ. Even Our photographer, ‘Magic Motion Media,’ planned a surprise for our couple by playing a teaser of her Nikkah, which overwhelmed all of us. Post this, we proceeded to cut a gorgeous cake baked by Zeba’s best friend (Follow @whenindoubteatacupcake) with so much love that we could not take our eyes off it. Now that the cake and champagne toast was done, it was time to get the party started!

Walter came in to pump the party up with his extremely energetic act of playing the water drums! All the guests were hyped and suddenly shifted to a party mode. Our bartenders (Flaming Trio) make sure none stayed sober. DJ Nitesh took over by spinning to classic Bollywood hits while Walter shifted to a darbuka, grooving along with its beats and dancing among the guests. The party felt like a never-ending one with all guests headbanging and dancing to the energetic music.

We ‘Events By Saniya’ definitely give this crowd the most energetic and powerful pack we have come across. Trust us; this event was successful not only because of the decor and planning, but we would also like to give all credit to our DJ, Walter, bartenders and definitely the Guests! for being in sync with the vibe and making it a memorable one.
